When I finished the international business course, I realized that I didn’t really know what to do with it. An office job didn’t sound bad, but it would be so much nicer if I could also do something with the one thing I prefer to spend my days on; being creative. What once started as just selling Make your own soap packages has now grown into a full-time job. It also just keeps getting busier. The next step? Daffy’s goes international! And that’s where Verachtert comes in. Verachtert NV is a Belgian company that makes and sells classic embroidery kits. The company is known for its high quality brands Vervaco and LanArte. And since the end of 2021 also for Daffy’s!

Since the beginning of 2021, the packing and shipping of the packages has been completely taken over by the Nora works foundation! They are a social employer that creates workplaces for anyone with an intellectual disability who can and would like to work in a safe environment. There could not have been a better match – our packages are packed with a lot of care and love and at the same time the employees can participate in the labor market at their own pace.
